Greetings! This page is intended for students who are considering applying for a position on the UPB's General or Executive Boards! Serving on the General or Executive Board is significantly larger of a commitment than joining the UPB as a Full Board member. For more information about low-commitment opportunities, please check out our Get Involved page. Otherwise, if you are willing to explore the possibility of holding a larger leadership role with the UPB, buckle up and prepare for the ride of your life!
It is NOT a requirement to currently be a UPB member. While experience may help, and while we certainly recommend getting involved to see if the UPB is really for you, we WILL and HAVE selected leaders for our General and Executive Boards without previous UPB experience. Take, for example, the Director of Marketing and Promotions position. The past THREE Directors of Marketing and Promotions were never members of the UPB before being offered their position! So go for it!
